Midterms, Madness, and Blogs

February 19, 2016

I always create blogs, and then start over. And over. And over. But now that I'm in college, I feel like starting one this time can be better. There's more things to do and a lot to explore with the next four years. Part of me feels like this is convincing myself that this is "training" (but is it really?) for a possible journalism and music double major, and the other part of me finds it hilariously ironic that writing blog posts is the exact opposite of what I want to be doing, which is going out and exploring. However with most blogs, it'll be like I'm reporting my findings to the small world that is my Facebook friends. Don't let this fool you though: despite the name of the blog, I'm NOT procrastinating for my midterms, but let's be honest, "taking a break from studying" is really just the "excuse phrase" for procrastinating (but I'm really studying! Trust me!). Honestly, I may even look back on this post in a few weeks and restart again.
